'Texas' joins box office top hits

Iran movie 'Texas' has been ranked among the five bestselling titles of the week in Iranian box office.

Directed by Masoud Atyabi, 'Texas' succeeded to join the five high-grossing films of the week just after one week of screening.

According to a local media report the weekly gross for the flick reached 11,347,290,000 Rials.

The total gross for the movie until Wednesday, April 25, is 12,389,250,000 Rials.

‘Texas’ started public screening in Iranian movie theaters as of Wednesday April 19.

Pejman Jamshidi, Sam Derakhshani and Hamid Farrokhnejad star in the movie.

‘Texas’ has an action comic theme and enjoys some foreign stars. “Never threaten an Iranian, even in Texas,” the tagline for the flick says.

Other high grossing movies at the Iranian box office for April 19-25 are:
